COMMUNIQUÉ FROM THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR

DIGITAL CERTIFICATES WEB – eCertificates and eAcademic Transcripts

NOTICE TO THE AUTUMN 2021 GRADUATES

Dear 2021 Graduates, Staff and Students,

Congratulations on your achievement.  We take great pride in the completion of your studies, despite all the trials and tribulations of the COVID-19 pandemic and the complexities of the 2020 academic year.

We are pleased to inform you that the Digital Certificates Web will go live on Friday 28 May 2021 at 16h00.

Every graduate will receive an email from UKZN advising them to access their digital documents, as the system ‘downloads’ the relevant documents over the weekend;  Or, after 14h00 on Monday 31 May 2021, Graduates who are yet to receive their email, my access the system using Google Chrome on https://e-certification.ukzn.ac.za

Please see user guide attached.

If you have already registered on the system, you will need to delete this registration prior to your virtual ceremony, otherwise you will not be able to access your documents, and a ‘pending’ message will reflect and you will need to contact the help line for assistance.

Please do not try and register on the system before you receive your email to access your digital documents and/or on Monday 31st May 2021 @ 14h00 as noted above, as the email address you use to register will then get ‘stuck’, and you will be required to use another email address to register afresh on the system. There is no advantage in trying to beat the rush before the publication of the certificates.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDANCE NOTES:
